MEMORIA, Récits d’une autre Histoire – MUNCAB, Brésil

The group exhibition “Memoria: Tales of Another History”, was curated by Nadine Hounkpatin and Jamile Coelho. After being held in Bordeaux (France), Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Yaoundé (Cameroon) and Antananarivo (Madagascar), the National Museum of Afro-Brazilian Culture (MUNCAB) in Salvador de Bahia and the French Embassy in Brazil are hosting this traveling exhibition as part of the official France-Brazil 2025 season. “Memoria: Tales of Another History” revisits dominant historical narratives through the voices of African women artists and those of the diaspora.
