Barbara is an industrial designer graduated from Strate School of Design in Paris.
She first worked as an integrated designer in the Cauval Industries group (furniture), then in the Montevago agency - Paris- specialized in the luxury industry, and with clients such as Lancel, Montblanc, Roberto Cavalli ...
Afterwards she joined an architecture firm before creating her own design studio in 2007.
Her first projects were scenographic projects, especially in the field of live performance and shows : aquatic shows, operas, theater...
In 2009 she created the brand Marthe Aimé, high-end accessories and ready-to-wear Made in France. Her collections were featured at Toronto and London Fashion Weeks.
As a versatile designer, Barbara likes to open bridges between creative worlds, from furniture design to leather goods, from scenography to illustration...
With an in-depth experience in the luxury industry, the attention to detail, the product elegance and the know-how quality lead her work.
In 2015, the designer won the Jacquart Design Trophy, an international design prize launched by Champagne Jacquart and the Paris Design Week.
Awarded for the creation of the Cuvée Alpha box (prestigious vintage of the brand), she will later act as Artistic Director for the Champagne brand by creating, among other things, the scenographies of Jacquart showrooms during the Paris Design Week 2016, 2017, 2018.
Native of the Béarn region, nature has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the designer.
In 2019, her work of art called Blue Landscape - a huge woven Pyrenean landscape - the result of a 2 years collaboration with the company Tissage Moutet (Living Heritage Company), is chosen by the Elysee Palace to be exposed in the heart of the G7 Summit of Biarritz.
The designer works now as an artistic director for brands in different fields as luxury goods industry, textile, gastronomy, furniture... She designs products, realizes event scenographies and artistic projects.
