Les artistes Barbara Asei Dantoni et Barthélémy Toguo étaient invités par la galerie Space Un (Tokyo) à prendre part à l’évènement The Listening Lunch, en marge de la biennale de Venise. Cet évènement-hommage à Koyoh Kouoh était un moment suspendu dans l’effervescence de la biennale. Les deux artistes ont été invités à produire des textes et des poèmes, qu’ils ont lu et/ou performés en présence d’invités du monde de l’art international, venus partager ce moment unique autour d’un déjeuner gastronomique, au coeur du Jardin Secret de Venise.

A l’initiative de Seiko Mbako, cet évènement, produit par la galerie Space Un, était co-curaté par Dr. Francesca Carol Rolla et Claude Grunitsky.

Artists Barbara Asei Dantoni and Barthélémy Toguo were invited by Space Un Gallery (Tokyo) to take part in The Listening Lunch, held alongside the Venice Biennale. Conceived as a tribute to Koyo Kouoh, the event offered a suspended moment of reflection amidst the energy of the Biennale.

Both artists were invited to write texts and poems, which they read and/or performed before an audience of international art professionals gathered to share this unique experience over a gastronomic lunch in the heart of Venice’s Secret Garden.

Initiated by Seiko Mbako, the event was produced by Space Un Gallery and co-curated by Dr. Francesca Carol Rolla and Claude Grunitzky.
